Thomas Edison and the lightbulb
Life is ever changing, expanding, evolving, paving the way, innovating and creating for this generation and generations to come. I believe Thomas Edison chose to have faith in the unseen and brought to the world the creation of the lightbulb.
I haven’t failed, I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.

Thomas Edison listened to himself and his own inner guidance. If he had listened to examples such as societal fears and habitual conditioning, cultural habits, his own ego and negativity, then possibly we may not have the light bulb today.
Thankfully I believe Thomas Edison listened to himself and his own intuitive guidance and he made sure that he kept on going and kept on trying.
Remember when you think you have exhausted all possibilities, remember this, you haven’t.

Through his tenacity and perseverance in the face of adversity we now have light, through his creation of the lightbulb!!
As we all have experienced, you know the feeling of fear, anxiety and worry that he must have felt. He must have had a lot of uncertainty but he found the courage to continue in his own convictions. I think he chose to respond with love over fear and to take the leap into the unknown.
His choice to keep going has turned out to have been a great choice for us all or we might still be sitting here in the dark or by candlelight (actually, I think candles are beautiful, I love them although more so for relaxation.) It would have taken quite a while to light a house at night by candlelight. We are now able to save this time and his invention has created more time for us all. Thankyou in gratitude to Thomas Edison.

In recognising this, I believe it is important to use our gifts, talents, skills, (we all have them even if they are hidden or are waiting to be discovered) to play our part in evolution for future generations.
Nature is our great teacher and watching nature shows us that we are constantly evolving. Nature shows us we are all here for a reason, every last one of us!! I believe we must try to discover this reason as I believe we matter, our lives matter and the quality of our life is important.
If we did all the things we are capable of, we would literally astound ourselves.

We all have gifts no matter our age. We are never too old to make a difference and play our part in the world. It would be a shame for our gifts to be unused and go to waste. In discovering our gifts and then going for our dreams followed by the discovery of our purpose, this energises us and that’s the spark, that’s the energy we bring to this life. Finding that passion is like dynamite, it lights you up and then in turn lights up the world!
My thinking about life is to have no regrets.
I would like to see something similar on my gravestone!!
